1969 Chevrolet Truck CST10 review from North America
"Tuff as nails, with a classy look"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem I've had with this beast is the gas mileage, otherwise I put a tune-up kit in her.
General comments?
It handles like an ocean liner, rides rough, but I haven't walked yet.
I use it more as a tractor than a highway rig. I bought it from a farmer just outside of town, that's how he used it too. It's a work-aholic, gas guzzling, tire wearing, loud and ugly.
My future plans are to do a complete restoration, back to factory. (with a few extras of course)
It came from the factory with a 396, 400 Turbo Hydro-matic transmission, a real screamer in its day, from what my old man told me.
