Had no problems with car, except for ac relay switch which was replaced at dealer for $10.
Raced every car at every red light and won except once a rx3 beat me after going over 100 mph.
This review is absolute bs. Beat every car at every stoplight?? In a Vega??? Please! Maybe if somebody installed a 396 to make it into a funny car back in the 70s, but ABSOLUTELY NO WAY with the stock 4-cylinder. I seriously doubt you ever got that thing up to 100 mph. You reached a little too far with your made-up review. It was already stretching credibility to say anything better than that it doesn't use more than 1 quart of oil every 300 miles. The best you can say about these cars is that they move under their own power and keep you dry and warm in the rain and snow.

- Dear Sir or Madam: YOU ARE DRUNK!!!
Vega GT's were known for being slow off the line. Their 4 speed transmission had gearing like a 5 speed without a 1st gear. Starting off in 1st felt like you were starting off in 2nd. I know I owned one back then.
This reviewer is dreaming.
Perhaps it was just that the other drivers at every red light didn't know they were in a race. 1975 was a time of very slow cars and the Vega was far from the slowest, but he must have never stopped by a 60's muscle car that bothered to notice him.
