1996 Chevrolet Venture LS 3.4 from North America

Summary:

A big money sucking box

Faults:

The head gasket blew.

The intake gasket later let go.

The transmission slipped.

General Comments:

Stay away from this piece of junk.

It has held up to the warnings I received and I spent more to keep it alive than I paid for it.

To the author of this review: there was no such thing as a 1996 Venture. The Venture was introduced for 1997 to replace the Lumina APV.

My father has a 1996 Chevy Venture mini van. It blew a head gasket at 61,000 miles. It is an extremely costly repair.
