2000 Chevrolet Venture review from North America
"A decent van--roomy, attractive and rides smoothly"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The power sliding door repeatedly opened while the vehicle was moving.
The inside lift gate handle snapped at one side.
It is nearly impossible to remove the battery--there are no directions in the owner's manual.
The middle row, middle seat belt sticks constantly.
General comments?
This is a roomy van and rides nicely; however, I was shocked and horrified when, while driving at 50 MPH, the sliding door popped open--which happened to be next to the seat that my 3 year old was sitting in. Thankfully, she was securely buckled in and I was able to pull over and shut the door. I took it to a dealer (not the original) and had them fix it. Apparently, this was a problem with many of the Ventures.
