2000 Chevrolet Venture Warner Broths Edition review from North America
"A pretty good car with cheap interior"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air conditioning fan blower motor had to be replaced once, but was under warranty.
There is still some problems during long distance driving ( 2 or more hours with the ac on) where the fan almost cuts off, and water condensation seeps into the passenger cabin. Dealer has reviewed, but says nothing is wrong. This has happened many times.
The rear door handle has broken. The control panel for the rear ac/heat fell out. Put back in under warranty. Some
of the molding around doors is coming off. Overall, cheap interior look and feel.
The negative terminal of the battery is not reachable, so it is difficult to use this car to jump start others.
The suspension is very bouncy, and passengers in the rear seats can get car sick easily.
General comments?
Pretty good car. No major problems yet at 46000 miles.
Rides like a car which is nice. Folding seats are very convenient and relatively easy to remove when needed.
Good gas mileage, at 18 mpg city, and 27 highway.
