1997 Chevrolet Venture - review from North America
"I would buy another Chevy van"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket went bad at 50,000mi.
Front turn signal socket burned up.
Car idled rough-a gas valve went bad.
General comments?
The car has plenty of power in the city, but in the mountains it struggles a bit.
I like the way the transmission shifts and it's very smooth.
The car had head gasket problems right after the warranty Expired. Chevy was more than fair by paying all labor costs associated with the repair (And I paid for parts).
Overall, the car never left me or my family stranded and I am happy with it.
