- A/C stopped blowing cool air, A/C compressor clutch loads the engine down when switching.
- Driver side rear door window motor non operational.
- Buzzing from the dashboard front speaker.
- Audible tapping noise when the engine is started from cold, does not reoccur after subsequent warm starts.
The car handles extremely well, with lots of power on tap for high speed maneuvering. I did have problems with traction control going up a snow covered hill in March with street tires, however, the antilock brakes worked as expected. Tire noise is high, probably due to the General Exclaim tires that replaced the OE ones, but this probably also accounts for the superb handling.
Lots of room in the trunk, and with the seats folded down in the rear, one could easily place a 60"x30" object in the rear of the car with no problem.
Sunroof is very nice, and works well.
Interior is well laid out, electric heated leather seats are still in excellent shape after 7 years, and the rear climate control vents are a luxurious touch.
This car was originally designed for the European market, but was also popular here as well (and I did see a number of them in the Baltic states and in Russia).
OK for the one that was complaining that the car was in 2nd and couldnt get out. THE problem is the Transmission cylinoid. it's a omputer that tell it when to switch. mine went out on me 3 times!
Fix it and sell it right away and you can also see my review on this I posted two reviews on a 1999 chrysler 300m. the topic was " don't buy a dodge or chrysler... and the second topic is " computer virus or nightmare" (I belive it was one or the other.
