1998 Chrysler Cirrus LXI review from North America
"It's a good car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well it was misfiring on cylinders 4 & 5. Changed spark plugs and wires, and distributor cap and rotor. The engine light came on and threw a code, the oxygen sensor hoses were loose, so try checking them to make sure they are on tight, if it's not that then try replacing the EGR valve. Which is around $80.00 at Advanced Auto store. But if your car keeps on stalling... I would try changing the crank sensor. You could also bring it to a garage and they will hook it up to a pressure gauge, which will tell you if your fuel pump is working correctly. And if it's your fuel pump, you're gonna have to have a mechanic drop the gas tank to get to it.
General comments?
I like my 1998 Chrysler Cirrus LXI... just had to work out some corks in it.
