1996 Chrysler Cirrus LX review from North America
"Low maintenance car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only real problem I've had with the car has been the driver side front brake. LUCKILY, the guy who owned the car before me left everything in the glove compartment to everything he had done, from oil changes to tire repairs. And I looked thru his records, and I saw he had the same problem with the brakes. I saw at 17,000 : 30,000 : and 45,000 he had the brakes changed to. So I'm not sure if it was a manufacture problem or not. Other than regular maintenance its been a great car. Now it is a cold natured car. If your in a cold area or on cold days youll want to let it warm up for at least 10 minutes before you drive it because it tends to be noisy in the steering system. But it's a common complaint on this car.
General comments?
The room in the trunk is amazing. I'm not sure if they guy who owned it before me purchased a real size spare or if it comes with a real size spare. But it is nice, because it hides underneath a mat in the truck, so its outa site outa mind. And another plus is if you have a flat, you can put the real size tire on and finish out your day. You're not stuck worrying about having to do 45 mph the rest of your way to were you need to go.
