1999 Chrysler Concorde LXI review from North America
"A beautifully sculptured car with an exceptional ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electrical problems from the beginning.
Automatic door locks have been repaired several times.
There is a red light on the top of the dash that flashes when the alarm is on that runs down the battery when the car sits for several weeks at a time.
There have been engine sensors that have gone bad repeatedly, causing the engine to surge.
Poly-carbon plastic headlight covers and hood deflector trim ages rapidly.
Front lower air dam is too low to the ground to clear many driveways.
A cooling system hose blew on the highway requiring over three thousand dollars of repairs just after the extended warranty expired.
General comments?
The car is a great drive, good performance, exceptionally comfortable for long trips, excellent gas mileage averages 28 mpg.
Tried the new 300C and found this car to be more comfortable both in front and especially the back seats.
