"A ok car with very high maintenance cost"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Air Conditioner went out at about 75K miles.

Only the rear passenger window works. The drivers side window constantly becomes untracked, the passenger front hasn't been down in over 2 years. I refuse to buy a 4th motor for it. The drivers rear will work on occasion so I just leave it up.

The trunk will not stay open unless I prop it up with a stick or a pole.

The trunk weather stripping allows rainwater to collect in the spare tire well so after heavy rains I have to soak up the water or deal with a mildew odor.

The overhead console flashes on and off.

After about 50K miles, not one interior light was working so I have to use a flashlight in case I want or need to see inside the car after dark.

The remote entry system is no longer remote, it has stopped working.

Sometimes the sunroof won't open, the headliner for the sunroof is losing its battle with gravity.

Brakes are horrendous, the pads seem to need to be replaced at least 2 times a year.

General comments?

The car is not a bad car for the small amount of money I have now decided to put into its upkeep.

Its still reasonably fast.

Gas mileage is ok for a car with this many miles on it and no tune up.

It handles well and the engine remains strong.

For the most part the issues I have seems to be mostly with the electrical system.

One thing I would have liked on this car is illuminated controls for the cruise control buttons. Its hard to set at night especially now that I have no interior lighting.

It is very easy to replace the unit yourself. All you need is a Philip's screw driver and a socket wrench.
