This car was extremly reliable up until 100,000 miles. The computer went bad and all the power equipment stoped working, fortunatly it started working on its own again after about a day. I find that very weird. Next the cars front end got very wobbly at about 70mph. I had new tires, bushings, and an alignment. This fixed the problem for about 6 months then it all started over. The worst part of this car was the brakes! They squeaked and squeled. Very embarasing for everyone would look when I stoped. I took that car to every place that claimed they could fix noisy breaks. No one could fix them. Anyone else have this problem?
When I bought this car it was a big improvment over my 1990 New yorker that had no power options or even a tape player. The seats in this car are like couches. Everyone who sat in the cars back sean loved it especially on the long ride out to California when I moved there. This car was in the brutal Nebraska Winters until 2000 and never faulted, but once it got to California that's another story. I would never buy another Chrysler now. In 2000 I bought a Lexus and another in 2002 and those are just amazing cars. I dontated this to a charity in 2004. Was glad to see it go!!!
Last year I owned a 1993 Chrysler Concorde. It seemed to overheat often, and I could not figure out why.I'd get half a mile from home and it would run hot. It ran well and used no oil, but the overheating problem left me stranded many times. I finally traded it off, and I will never buy another Chrysler/Dodge again.
