1999 Chrysler Concorde LXi review from North America
"A good reliable sedan, but electrical could use improvement"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Door Solenoid on left Passenger and Driver have become defective.
Transmission Speed Sensor failed.
Headlights yellowed and gaskets slipped.
Windsheild wipers inconsistent in cold weather.
General comments?
Generally, this has been a good and faithful car since I bought it new. The 3.2 engine has been strong and have never had a problem with it. Regular maintenance on it.
The transmission seems to be slipping a bit, but I've now got 145K worth of miles on it.
The rotors on the front brakes seem to wear a bit fast though.
The door solenoids could use improvement. The driver's side passenger failed about a year ago and I had it replaced. Now the one in the driver's door is buzzing. Also, the auto down switch for the driver's door window doesn't work any longer.
