1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?

When I first bought the conquest the engine was supposed to be locked up. Only to find out that the timing was 360 degrees off and the manifold was cracked, besides that the engine was running off of the number 2 cylinder of 50 percent compression and still spinning the tires with limited slip. That let me know this was and still is the sports car for me. After purchasing a used engine for $1,000 and having a shop install it (in which I won't mention, but they are well known for screw ups that I know now) added on a new 25psi turbo, new clutch and flywheel that I did not need, but charged and not replaced (still have old/new parts) new ignition, alternator, iceman intercooler, two year old black paint with blue metallic clearcoat, I am left without an engine and just a 175mph car sitting still. $10,000 down the drain due to some jealous assholes,I recieved another engine due to my warranty and the mitusbishi dealership forgot to add oil into the engine which almost locked it up, lucky I know the symptoms, and was smart enough to push the clutch in. It doesn't matter I will not give her up for anything except a 2006BMW M3, the only compatible automobile in the conquest/starion class that looks and can keep up with a new generation sports car at almost 20 years old. She's in storage right now. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it very much, all I need is a 2.6l turbocharged engine, in which I have my own turbo and manifold. I'm at Bigbrowndee7@yahoo.com.

General comments?

It's horrible to find out that most of the parts for the conquest/starion have been discontinued through the dealership. Not many autoparts stores carry parts none the less engines that are low priced and rebuilt or remannned. A used engine itsn't worth it.
