1990 Chrysler Imperial review from North America
"The ultimate luxocruiser!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air conditioning compressor
The computerized air suspension system.
General comments?
This car is very comfortable and plush. Very nice to take trips in. The degree of fit and finish in the interior is awesome. I have never owned
a more comfortable car.
Chrysler made a few mistakes designing this car. The air suspension system is garbage. It is incredibly complex and expensive to fix, when you can find a dealer who is willing to work on it. My car was retrofitted with coil springs and struts from a Dodge Dynasty which cured the only gripe I had about this car.
It has been dependable and comfortable and will hopefully continue to be.
