"Great car if you're a mechanic with 3 back up engines to install"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Well I bought it and 2 weeks later the power steering pump went

then 2 weeks after that I hear d a ticking, call the dealer ship the said bring it in, I took it in parked it on the weekend and when they went to start it they said it wouldn't start. they looked at it and the crank shaft bearing was gone and said I need a new engine, I bought the car not even a month prior owe 5000 on it and now they say the power train warantie I bought only covers up to 2500 so I'm stuck paying the rest, if anyones nows how to nail chyrsler for this please let me no at Mikes_715@msn.com, I'm canadian by the way.

General comments?

This engine should be recalled and replaced at there cost.

Does your vehicle have the 2.7 liter V6?

It seems that these engines are prone to sludge build up.

This could be what did in your engine.

Hi my name is greg I bought a 2000 chrysler intrepid a year and a half ago the engine only has 155000 kms on it and I have already put a cam censor in it 385$ later I get it back and a little while later I hear a ticking noise followed by a loud knocking I take the car to the dealer they check it out and tell me I need a new engine so for $5000 to $7000 they will put another engine in for me. I agree with the statement made on this site that chrysler should go good for this, I was told that the 2.7 engine is known to build up sludge thus causing the engine to retire, Something needs to be done I now have a $21000 paperweight sitting in my driveway with only 3.5 years of payments left. Thanks for reading, if anyone knows of anything that can be done please let me know my e-mail is goneballistic@hotmail.com THANKS greg.
