1999 Chrysler Intrepid review from North America
"JUNK"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sway bar links at 30,000km.
Thermostat housing at 36,000km
Towed back to dealer 7 times in fist 5 months of ownership. Continous problem with sensors??...I was told.
Brakes freezin/seizing up in winter months.
At roughly 70,000 km. high velocity sensors in tranny died one night going into work.
Sludge build up in basepan, I change every 5000kms..engine staring smoking and PCV vavle was always stuck... need I continue.
General comments?
I bought my first and last Chrysler product. Would not even drive one now if I won it in a contest/lottery!!! I'd sell it to some other sucker...'cause that's what I was when I bought it. Dealer continue to treat me like I had ebola virus when really it was the car that had it. I now drive a Honda and am completely satisfied. Was a GM guy for years, but goodbye domestics!
