1990 Chrysler LeBaron 3L V6 review from North America
"Lemon and a half"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Between 84K-93K I replaced the timing belt, ac belt, fixed two oil leaks, re-sealed the head gasket, air valve replaced, too many repairs to remember
The transmission was not replaced, but acted up on hills.
General comments?
I had a lebaron convertable for a year and it cost so much money to mantain that I had to sell it.
It was very unreliable and I will NEVER buy Chrystler again. There were periods of time when I was at the mechanic every week. No joke. I payed twice the amount I bought it for in repairs. It was a beautiful car and fun to drive, but it had terrible electric and was not mechanically sound in general. If you're thinking about a Lebaron, make sure you have the $$$ for repairs. I'm surprised this car got such good ratings.
