1997 Chrysler LHS review from North America
"It's a beautiful lemon."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine knocked from day one. During the 6 years I owned it, I replaced the battery, battery cables, radiator, all hoses and belts, timing chain twice, timing chain pulley/rotor, all spark plugs twice, tires twice, air conditioner compressor, air conditioner fan motor, front brakes, thermostat, oxygen sensor, and crankcase sensor. When I managed to keep it running long enough to trade in, it needed new rear suspension, a new air conditioner electronic box for the off/on switches, and that's just at 88K miles!
General comments?
Lemon--a pretty, comfortable, luxurious expensive lemon. Rides well when it's running.
