"An excellent combination of luxury and power"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Transmission differential went kaput around 25,000kms, but other than that, nothing.

General comments?

Beautiful interior and exterior design.

Handles extremely well at high speeds for a large car.

Very comfortable on long distance trips.

Averages about 35-37mpg on the highway (great for the size of the car and the engine).

Heated seats are a definite plus in the winter.

The sound system is just awesome!

Powerful, yet luxurious at the same time.

Corners well for a large vehicle.

Great interior features and accessories.

Yes, I agree. Picked up the 2000 LHS because pack rat wife saw the three body mafia trunk. 28,000 and 18 months old, came from CA rental car co.

Did 30,000 highway miles in 2002-3 and wow. A land yatch, a cruiser, long wheelbase, etc. Only a few land gators damaged the bumperless front end. Got a Le Bra to cover the front. 26 mpg on the road, original Goodyears went 70,000 and now Continental CH95. Less road noise. Suprisingly easy on the city driving for a long hauler.

Typical little items - oil tranny leak, door locks, etc.
