1979 Chrysler New Yorker 4door pillarless sedan review from Finland
"Great looks and good performance with relatively good fuel economy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Car was really rusted from the trunk when bought.
Interior was a bit torn
dash lamps did not work
some problems with electrics
electric windows made funny sound
front headlamp turning doors worked from separate switch.
General comments?
Engine was hotrodded, car was really fast, burned rubber easily when stepped on gas pedal.
Ride was OK, a bit jumpy due to "shorter" wheelbase (compared to -78 and older)
