The transmission clunks.
The seats are not very comfortable and the gas mileage sucks!
Well, so does this review!
I agree. THIS REVIEW IS HORRIBLE, and doesn't have enough info on the subject or anything in that matter.
The above review is to car reviews what "Plan 9 From Outer Space", was to movies.
Only there was more thought and effort put into "Plan 9 From Outer Space".
Did the clunking start at around 20,000 miles?
If so, check your front axles. It may not be the transmission.
Well here's my impressions of the Pacifica.
A bit underpowered.
Terrible visibility, especially to the rear. (You'll see lots of Pacifica's with dented tailgates.)
Nice ride, decent handling.
Watch for reliability issues. Front axles are needing replacement on some Pacifica's at about 20,000 miles.
The power tailgate is a nice feature. AWD is the way to go.
Get the rear back-uup assistance, due to the poor visability.
It's probably a 14 year old writing about his moms car, whichhe's only experienced from the back seat.
Actually I turned 15 last December, and sometimes mommy lets me ride up front.
Easy on "Plan 9 From Outer Space". It is one of the only movies in history where the actor in the leading role died during filming and was simply replaced with another actor. Half of the movie the lead role was one actor and "POOF" all of the sudden there was a different guy! GENIUS. And much more imaginative than this non-review.
Actually most of the movie featured the 2nd actor, and he kept most of his face covered with his cape so to look like Lugosi.
I was the guy wearing the ape suit and the fish bowl on my head. Oh wait, that was the night I wrote this review!
OK -Now I have to rent Plan 9 from outer space.
But I AM going to the Chrysler dealer this weekend to check out the 2007 Pacifica Touring with all the options. 35K is a lot, but I need a 6 seater with heated leather seats and heated side mirrors and 8 speaker sound system. This fits the bill (the Volvo is 8K more and the Ford Freestyle looks like C.R.A.P. compared to the this... although I will still check it out).
What I am REALLY interested in is electrical/engine problems. I am moving from a '99 Catera that drove very well for 3 years, but completely fell apart. I believe in BUYING my cars in place of leasing.
Anyone have any words on leasing versus purchase? Why throw away money every month? Buying gets you 3 years without payments to save for a major down payment on new!~
