2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Edition review from North America
"Good Part Time Cruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes, TCM, PCM, radiator, steering column, timing belt and harness, motor mounts (all 3), water pump, A/C, blinker switch, 02 sensor.. just to name a few things.
General comments?
I was so excited to get my PT Cruiser for the first two months.
At 47500 miles the PCM went out... It was all down hill from there. The car broke down about every two months costing anywhere from 300 - 1200 USD to repair.
It's a cute car, just a VERY VERY bad built investment.
I finally figured out what the PT stands for; it only cost me about 7000 USD total in three and a half years.
PART TIME...
