1993 Chrysler Saratoga review from Finland
"Make`s me smile and feel at home"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine run very often roughly due to various causes related to the electrical system, ventilation, filters, fuel system and exhaust system.
Radiator is quite rusty and many of the pipes need to replaced.
Brakes need much attention, but once a year will usually do.
Parts are heavily over-priced and the dealerships are nothing to be proud of.
Rear ligths have some bad connections.
Head gasget blew at 220,000 km, but maybe due to a bad assembly.
Trunk lid lever not functioning.
Exhaust pipe assembly needs much attention.
Rust is starting to show under the doors and the body.
Some problems with the wipers and washer.
Light switch replaced.
Speedometer and oil pressure meter failures occur.
Rear shocks replaced.
General comments?
Driving is relaxing, fun and reliable.
Every penny`s worth and then some.
This good looking and feeling old lady is full of good vibrations (in addition to good music in your player).
Saratoga is a member of the family and will remain as one for a long, long time.
