2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXi review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Have 3 Sebrings now, All convertible, and have to say that the 6 cylinders run better with less repair than my one 4 cylinder
We do have the water issue, but clearing the drains does stop it. Rain does go in through back small window gaskets; check yours, there is a space there.
As for the stalling, our 4 cylinder did that until it would not restart. After 7 months and 3 different garages (we found the dealers no help), finally an honest knowledgeable mechanic to tell us it was a bad computer and crank sensor; just under 1,000.00 labor and all, and the car runs great, and the bonus is the odometer works now too. But both were needed for it to work.
Don't give up, they are good cars, if only someone would come up with a fix for the visors and the tearing of fabric on them, without having to replace at over 300.00.
My cars, 2-1996 and a 2000.
