1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JX review from North America
"Upset, but hopeful"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Leaking when I took it to detail it.
Interior excellent though.
Driver's seat needed motor repair or lube.
One recall not performed (transaxle shifter).
When I purchased the car it ran great.
I owned the car 6 & 1/2 days, brought it home one night & when I got up the next morning, it wouldn't start.
I paid a mobile mechanic to come out & look at it, and he told me it was the distributor... which is hard for me to accept at $230 rebuilt, & based on the fact that it will start, and run if you bury the accelerator in the floor. But it will not stay on & jumps, bucks, & blub, blub, blub... Off.
It seems like a fuel delivery problem to me; my gas tank is full, I double checked.
If anyone can give me an idea of what is wrong, I'd appreciate it.
