1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JX review from North America

Horns don't work some times blows fuses, replaced horns, same thing some time they work some times not, slam the door? They work... who knows.

Car does not start, dead battery, had Pep Boys install new one? They said it needed a starter too... 300 bucks for that... a week to day? Same deal, dead battery, no start. Gee thanx Pep Boys.

Whirly noise from engine compartment, broken motor mount (s) fix one, the other goes... great engineering huh?

Trunk does not 'pop' open with electric switch, sometimes it is ready to open? Sometimes it takes two hands one for the key or remote? The other to open the trunk lid... someone saved a few bucks seeing to it the trunk wouldn't have a silly spring to assure easy operation I guess huh?

Oh, trunk light doesn't come on when opened, (see horns above)

Driver's seat leather shot. (not with a gun)

rides like a flopping fish out of water, not exactly a sport package handling sort of car here folks.

V-6 has little power really, not very exciting in some ways, trans is a lazy shifter; seems you sort of wait for things to happen when you floor it to accelerate onto the highway etc.

Not too thrilled with braking here at all. Okay I suppose, but not what I would term confidence building.

Doors rattle while driving, not much confidence they will stay closed.

Passenger window lift switch inoperable....

'She' wanted one, not me, I have given it a fair try out... I am not so sure I would recommend them to others, and certainly do not think they are crash worthy at all.
