2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXi review from North America
"Overall it's a nice car"
General comments?
Love the styling and the comfort of the Sebring Convertible. My only complaint is the awful trim colors available. Top color choices: Black or Tan Where is the White? - for a couple of years White was offered, but only with White paint. Consequently, since the paint was a "bright" White, after a short while the top looked like it needed a good cleaning, but if offered with a colored paint the White top I think would look sharp!
The same goes for the interior trim colors: Black, Tan, Greenish/Grey. The Greenish/Grey was only available on White or Silver cars. Who ever thought Black was a convertible interior color must not ever have owned one - between the scorching heat if parked in the sun with the top down and the instant dusty look.
As far as the Tan, Tan is just Tan unless you like it. Again where is the White?
I've previously owned 2 convertibles and had White interior in both - It's much cooler than the dark colors and as far as dust and dirt, it doesn't show the dust as fast as Black and for dirt, unless you have small children or take pets in a convertible, it doesn't show the dirt any faster than Grey or Tan.
