2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited review from North America
"I still love the car and hope that it continues to be a good purchase"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My driver-side rear window was broken by vandals. It took the dealership window vendor four attempts to position the replacement glass so that it didn't leak or whistle.
I have noticed that my fuel pump will have an intermittent high-pitched ringing sound. I haven't been able to isolate the cause yet - fuel level, ambient temperature, or planetary alignment. The dealer won't replace it until it poops out.
General comments?
I can't figure out why Chrysler engineered the car to seat four passengers, installed four independently controllable windows, yet only put the rear window controls in the driver's door panel. Why not put rear window controls in the rear of the car? You could put a window "lockout" in the drivers door panel if the reason for this oversight was children. I have to control the window position for any passengers who are riding in the back!
