2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible LXi review from North America
"A dependable performer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front brake pads need replacing soon.
Front rotors will have to be replaced along with pads.
Stock Goodyear tires are lackluster.
Convertible top tries to fold under back window when putting top up sometimes.
During heavy rain or car washes, water seeps in from top a little.
General comments?
Has had no maintenance issues whatsoever.
Handling is excellent, cornering is solid. Pickup is speedy, but it downshifts quite a bit.
Last October I took it on a 3000+ mile trip over New England, it performed like a champ. No problems whatsoever.
My only complaint is that the front rotors have to be replaced even though they've never been turned. They're basically throw-away. However, replacement rotors are inexpensive.
