1996 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXI review from North America

Driver's seat has pretty bad wear, and I am not very heavy, but that's not uncommon.

Tie Rod Arm fell off while turning a corner. Managed to pull into a gas station, where it was towed to Chrysler.

Computer and Tachometer on dashboard comes on and off periodically.

The strangest thing happened just a week ago. The car begins to honk for no apparent reason. Not a steady honk, but whenever somebody opens the hood, or walks by it, even when I turn off the ignition, it continues. It is very creepy. Sometimes honking turns into Security Alarm while in traffic (very embarrassing). Removed horn fuse at dealership, and it continued to honk! The second I drive it into the Chrysler parking lot, it stops, and doesn't continue until I leave the parking lot after they supposedly "fix" my car. Had it into Chrysler 3 times in the last week. They tell me to come back when it is doing it. They finally decided to look at it the second time. They say it is the automatic starter that I got installed by a different company. They removed that, and it still honks. I brought it back, and they said that the relay switch was still activated, so I am going to pick it up in a few hours. Wish the Sebring Luck!

O2 Sensor went on it twice, and causes a disgusting smell.

Flashy, good looking car, but many defects. Considering this is only the second model year, I am not directing all my anger at Chrysler.
