1997 Chrysler Sebring Coupe LXi review from North America
"Good looking sporty car, but a lots of problems!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, I just purchased this car from an authorized Chrysler dealer. When I test drove it, I got on the freeway to see how it runs at high speeds, when I got from 65-75mph the car started to shake a lot. I got back to the dealer and told them about the problem, they told me they would just install new tires in the vehicle and that they were going to check the problem. They said they going to do an alignment to the tires. Well I told the owner of the dealer if he got that jumping problem resolved I would come back and buy the car the next day, so I did and he told me that the problem was taken care of. So I took it back on the freeway and it did not jump. So I bought the car. The very next day the "Check Engine" light started to show up on the panel.
I like the idea that cars are low, but the Sebring is too low at the front of the car, so every time I park in my stall at my apartments, the front of the car hits the curve.
General comments?
The car is nice looking sporty car.
Will buy another one if they make changes on the way it's built.
