1997 Chrysler Town and Country LXI review from North America
"It is the best car I've ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The electric locks engaged whenever I made a right turn, which turned out to be a $9.00 part and an independent garage who found and fixed it. I just replaced the transmission last week at 134,000 miles.
General comments?
It's been a wonderful car. Only required regular maintenance/service--tires, oil, battery, transmission service, etc.
Have not had any trouble with it whatsoever.
It is very comfortable, easy and responsive to drive and sits high enough that the driver can see everything easily.
It gets about 24 mpg on the road and 20 in town.
I love it for driving my grandchildren. Each has a comfortable seat and easy access from sliding doors on either side.
There is nothing about this car I don't like.
