1996 Chrysler Town and Country LXi review from North America
"Poorly built money sink"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Car purchased from my grandparents (original owners. The transmission failed at 60,000 miles, car has been impeccably maintained and has never been overloaded or used to pull a trailer. Now at 115,000 mile, the van leaks transmission fluid like nobody’s business.
Radiator has been replaced.
Starter has been replaced.
Three batteries.
Water pump replaced.
"Phantom" wipers.
"Rogue" alarm.
etc...
General comments?
This van, mechanically, is poorly thought out and built. Repair costs far exceed the value of the vehicle. Not reliable.
