2000 Chrysler Town and Country LX review from North America
"A high-value, reliable, good-looking van"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Out-of round tire caused vibration. Dealer replaced at no cost.
Transmission cooler line leaked. Dealer replaced clamp. no cost.
General comments?
I was first attracted to this van by the incentive of.9% interest for 60 months. This made a rather expensive vehicle much more affordable for me, a retiree. I was also attracted by the design, which is no so boxy as the imports or GM models.
Thus far I have not been disappointed. It has been a very comfortable, reliable vehicle. A recent trip to Colorado at 75-85 mph still netted me 21mpg. I found that it has adequate pickup despite its puny-sounding 158 hp. This van handles as well as a sedan.
My only complaint is what I consider excessive road noise on some surfaces.
