1998 Chrysler Town and Country LXI review from North America
"Very comfortable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump needed replacement @ 85000 miles.
The driver side seat warmer broke at around 85000 miles.
We have not had to do any other work except a brake job.
General comments?
I had serious doubts about buying this van. We were on our way to buy another Honda. The test drive changed my mind. I hated the color, hated the Chrysler name, but loved driving in a van that had plenty of leg and head room, (unlike our Honda) and turns tighter than our Accord. The seats can be removed and reconfigured. It fits all our stuff and we have been very happy with this van. This must be a Tuesday car and our Honda must have been a Monday or Friday car because we had it for 12 years and it had at least 6 major repairs during that time. We love this van and the comfortable drive. The leather seats hold up to anything it seems, but the seat warmer broke on the driver side.
My friend bought a 2003 and has had many serious problems with it. Guess we got lucky.
