1997 Chrysler Town and Country Grand Caravan review from North America
"Great, But needs to wired by professionals"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clock spring defined
A broken wire in the wires that are at the base of your steering wheel. The wires must turn as you turn the steering wheel. They break and all things connected to them quit working.
All Buttons on the steering wheel.
Speaker quit, it's not the radio, it's not the speaker, it's the Printed ciruit board wiring on each speaker (remove glue junk and re-solder)
Wipers, it not the motor, it's the printed ciruit board on the computer bend the relays, see for your self.
It it breaks it seem to me it is the factury duty to find these fixes which all seem to have the same route cause. VERY POOR wiring or Printed Circuit Boards and how to wrap wires. . ALL SIMPLE FIXES TOO>
General comments?
I cannot believe the FACTORY has not been able to directly solve these simple and on going problems. Fixed dodge would be the best car in the world - Sad so much money has been spent by so many fine people. Hope my finds help others. In case - they do - you will know how to fix great cars due to pooring re-sale values. I do remember the days we all replaced the fan
belt (s) once a year. Perhaps we need to do that again every 2 years.
Good luck.
