1996 Chrysler Town and Country LXI review from North America
"Nice, but will not take the risk again!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The computer system needed replacing three months after we purchased it from the dealer, 78,000 miles.
Transmission rebuild cost was $1450.00, at 100,000 miles.
Radio buttons never worked properly.
Windshield wipers go on when they are off.
Replaced A/C coil, cost $950.00, 115,000 miles.
General comments?
This van looks and feels great, but they are far too many issues that need to be addressed.
Machanic said he sees a lot of chrysler town and country's. Main issues are transmissions, a/c and computer probelems.
