I have a problem with my 1997 Town and Country that I hope others can help me with. It stalls when going down the road which is very dangerous. This has been going on for about a year now, and was very infreqent at first, but now is becoming an every week event. I've seen other Chrysler models also have this behavior--e.g., Cirrus. In fact on this website there have been many people indicating that they have found this same type of problem. Does anyone else with a T&C have this problem? If so, please let me know. Also, if you found a solution, let me know that too!
Excellent ride for taking trips!
That happened in my van also. Turns out I had a bad egr valve. When coming to stop or slow down it would stick open causing the car to stall. I've had no problems since having it fixed! Hope this helps.
