1989 Citroen AX 11TRE from Denmark - Comments

Master cylinder broke down.

Drive-shafts cracked.

Minor heat problems.

This is my first car and I simply love it. The seats are extremely comfortable. They are very soft, but support very well anyway.

The only problem is the maximam speed (approx. 140 km/h), but it has a great acceleration.

As far as I can tell the three problems listed above are very frequently occurring problems.

AX 11 TRE: NICE

My AX was first without any use, my sister owned it first and she dump it to my fathers yard, because she was having no luck with MOT. AX was standing still approx. two years. I had company paid 2.2 L Opel vectra wagon. Suddenly I get kicked out from work, but I got another working place, no problem. The problems begin when I had brilliant idea to let my sister´s old AX be repaired. I need car to get from country side to my new working place. I hav had enough about sales engineer lifestyle with company paid everytyhing, AX suits me just fine I thought. After first visit at garage called France Motëur, I really realized that I need my new working place and badly. The final bill of repaired AX was 1000 eur (about 674,95 GBP).You can buy No it runs, in MOT I had visited twice, but now it runs. Goes with little petrol and 1,1L engine is quick enough. My AX has 192 000 km.
