I had to put a clutch in when I bought it as it was slipping when you put your foot down.
Other niggly little problems consist of the passenger seat moving back and not clipping onto the runner properly.
Amongst those the trim is very fragile.
I like this car it is my ninth Ax and the fisrt Gti i`ve had a Gt before, but was not very good at all really ready for the scrap yard, but saying that they handle well and for a sporty car the economy is superb.
Can you please forward me instructions on how to change a clutch on the citroen ax debut one litre 1991?
Both Drives to come out and the gearbox mount with the starter motor too which can be fiddly to put back in, you will need torque bolts for the gearbox housing, speedo cable gear linkage to be removed will take roughly 3-4 hours if its your first atttempt to remove it and the same to replace, I had to take mine apart again as the thrust bearing came out of its place so make sure you get the right one took me 4 hours in total then as I knew what I was doing mind you I had changed a gearbox on a previous ax so its easier every time. On another note when replacing the gearbox oil 75/90 take the bung out of the top box 2 litres it will need its easier to put it in. I hope this will help. Thank You.
Ermm well I recently bought a AX Cit. AX and I'm looking for things to add to it, just general things really... perhaps a spoiler (:|), wheel trims or even a body kit? Any ideas where to look?
