1989 Citroen AX GT review from Australia and New Zealand
"Frog Rocket!! amazing"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Plastic bits have fallen off since I have bought it
Fuel filter cracked and leaked
exhaust rusted and fell off
cracked dashboard when purchased.
General comments?
Even though I have had to do a fair bit of work to the car to keep her on the road, it is the best thing that I have ever purchased.
The car had been stored for around 10 years previously, so all of the plastics and rubbers have become hard and cracked.
The car is fairly quick for its capacity, and I have given a few mates a scare with its pace.
The suspension is a little soft around edges when you throw it into corners, however its makes for a comfortable ride when you are just zipping around.
The seats are very comfortable and hold you in the seats nicely.
In Australia there were 24 imported, so they are quite a find out here
I am very impressed by its facade that it puts up, no-one realises what it is, or how fast it is. I love it
fuel consumption is quite remarkable.
