1991 Citroen BX TZD review from UK and Ireland
"A car that keeps on going with outstanding reliability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had no problems with the car within the first year of having the car at 180,000 the head gasket blew.
Suspension belt kept slipping at 190,000
but was easily fixed and with little expense.
General comments?
The car has been extremely reliable, starting on the coldest of mornings with ease, the car has an extremely comfortable ride and the suspension has never needed to be looked at or repaired and the spheres are the same as when I bought the car.
The bodywork is perfect with not rust and the interior is as new, the car is economical to run and loves to cruise on the motorway at 70mph, it is though sluggish between 1000rpm and 2000rpm until the Turbo comes in to play and its like a rocket.
The car is brilliant at towing often towing our cattle trailer and a few times towing a car trailer with a car on each time it pulled them with ease.
Over all a brilliant car and I would recommend one to anyone.
