1988 Citroen BX 16 RS review from UK and Ireland
"Body Roll here we come!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear wiper motor expired.
Suspension took too long to rise.
Blowing exhaust.
General comments?
I'm a big fan of these things.
I know they're overly complicated-
a bit weird and expensive to repair, but I've had two and so's my Dad (albeit a long time ago now) and they always proved bloody comfortable and half reliable.
This one, a 16 RS was a crap colour, sort of ivory white, and didn't have the Star Trek dash, but I was only 20 when I first owned it and compared to the crap my mate's were running around in it wasn't bad.
It went fairly well for a lowly 1.6, rode like a Jag and rolled like a 2CV, and I actually once had the comment 'Is this really yours?'
SCARY!!
