"Great car for little money"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

Lovely car, smooth good performance from a diesel, great economy.

Tows well, well mannered and dependable.

Just need to understand the hydraulics and keep them maintained.

I agree, very nice, good value car and mine, an estate, is still (almost) rust-free. 50 - 56 mpg (if you don't use the turbo much!)

The only problems I had were with the hydraulics.

Cheap spares from Andyspares Ltd.

Ref above Bx story, I would be much obliged to have an address or contact point for Andyspares. We have a marvelous BX TZD Which has been with my family since 1990 and 170000 miles. The usual repairs, but still original engine, gearbox and clutch. It has been used for everything, long distance tow car (trailers full of bricks, continental caravan touring, flatout motorway dashes, shopping trolley the lot!) It is still a great car and having been handed down to my son it now has a grand daughter to carry about safely. I wish I could buy a new one!Iwould appreciate any advice from other owners on how to keep this great car going.
