I need to know, are the C5s any good as I have a Xantia and it's been a very good car for 6 years, but I am now looking for 2001-2004 C5 maybe, but after reading a lot of these comments, I am a bit put off.

Please let me know what you think.

Hi, I am thinking of buying a Citroen CX Prestige 1985 with 106,000 miles on the clock. I am new to Citroens as have driven Saab's for many years. Can anybody recommend a good mechanic for these cars in Ireland, as I know from experience that the mechanic must understand and specialise in a car of that age to keep it in good condition. I would like to put on a passenger side wing mirror and a 3 point belt in the middle seat in the back. Any recommendations?

Thanks, Kate.

Ref: CX Prestige-nice motor, but Kate, you'll need to date that mechanic and take him with you every time you go out in the CX if you want to use it as your daily car...

Could be interesting...!!
