2003 Citroen C8 Exclusive review from UK and Ireland
"Money pit"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brake cylinder after six months.
FAP sensor ongoing fault.
De pollution sensor and then automatic gear box faulty. (we think it's a cause of the CPU) switching the car into fault mode and it only goes at 50mph.
Gaiters cracked.
Turbo changed twice in six months.
General comments?
This car is a waste of time effort and money.
PLease be very wary about buying one for commercial use.
I am a private hire driver and it has lost me money in the 4 years that I have had it. If it's not in the garage, then I am trying to pick up people from airports on the motorway doing 40-50 mph. Not good service I think you will agree.
I have in no way abused this car, and have taken notice of all the many warning lights that come up.
When I have taken it to the garage, they really don't know what is wrong with it and seem to have it for weeks, and the problem still hasn't been mended.
Do not buy this car! It has made me hate a job I used to enjoy doing!
