1977 Citroen CX Pallas review from Greece
"A car you will fall in love with"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Soon after acquiring my CX, there was a leak of LHM fluid, which lead to replacement of all the hoses.
The passenger electric window wouldn't go up. A bit of lubricant did it's job.
The headlights were getting rusty and were not as strong, but with a couple of 100W lamps, everything was OK.
Gear synchronisation from 1st to 2nd was well, gone, but no worries! Just start on 2nd gear. Great acceleration let me tell you!
General comments?
Great crazy car!
It handles like it's on rails, although the angle is quite big.
Steering and breaking takes time to get used to, as it is very heavily assisted. Once I got used to it, I couldn't drive another car!
It's suspension and seat position are exceptional, and the room in there is endless!
The trim is futuristic at least, as it looks like a spacecraft, and the steering wheel turns by it self to come to the center position!
