Very true. Some people get really irrate if you drive too close etc. What happens if that Corsa your bullying stops in front off you and 2 bouncers get out. LOL.

By bullying I meant made him stop in a crowded street to let me through where as to a smaller car he probably wouldn't. I don't intimidate anybody while driving, and I regard myself as a safe and courteous driver. Everybody has a spot of road rage every now and then, but the comments I made were jokes and were in no way meant to show off or anything like that. Was just having a laugh. And to be truthful the cars I drive are company cars, so I don't even own them.

The original author did oversell this car, no way is it going to beat an impreza or teg on any road. My brother has an integra type R and the straight line difference between his car and a VTS is so much that even if it didn't outhandle it (which it easily does) there would be little chance of the VTS being faster. On british roads the VTS is good, as you can't go over 70, if ever you do try it you will realise that the VTS quickly runs out of puff.

I'd sell my wife for an integra type r. Or even a civic type r.

I want to argue. Saxos are rubbish. Integras are to harsh to drive everyday. what you people wanna do is drive an Audi rs4 like I do 450bhp. Suckers.

How much did you pay for the RS4 and how much does a Saxo or a Integra cost; you can't compare an RS4 to any of these cars, it's in a super car league; compare it to stuff like the M5.

Most people can't afford an RS4 so that idea is out the window.

What an obscure, but interesting thread! I'm a Saxo VTS owner, I'm 19, and my dad has a 2001 Skoda Octavia vRS.

Nevara owner - can't think why you got rid of the Turbo Octy - they're very very good cars.

The VTS is good for a n/a 1.6 16v, they're a lightweight performance hatch, nothing more, they were never designed to be compared to the hard stuff, like Integras, Scoobys etc, that's all irrelevant.

However, come Feb, I'll be upgrading the camshafts to Newmans Phase 3's, and along with other breathing mods, I'm hoping to beat my dad's Octavia vRS. Not easy as they are really quick motors, and quite underrated, those 180bhp Octys! Will be interesting.

Bit late I know. I used to own the Octavia vrs and the o to 60 sprint a vts can match it no problem. I used to love that car, but I always wanted the navara and my company suddenly gave us the option as a car and about 4 of us jumped on it.

Rear wheel drive though. good for donuts.

I am a Saxo VTR owner and my friend is a VTS 140 bhp owner, and my comment isn't about matching up to an Integra, but just to warn people that you may be buying a cheap car in a VT? but you need to remember that's what it is; CHEAP!!!

Me and my friend both took these cars on from a garage. I have had it for 3 years and all they do is cost you money; parts are expensive, and you're forever fixing things. Not to mention if you hit anything, the car's just gonna fold because they're designed to LOL. Which also takes you back to the expensive parts if you're thinking about patching it up.

So basically I would say they are crap cars hehe.

I've owned 2 vts's quick underestimated car for the money. Integra type r dc2 the way forward, pure drivers car. thrash the balls off it, no problems, end of.

Driven my VTS for about 10k miles so far, daily use and I regularly flex the engine, not one problem so far. Build is patchy, but mechanics seem bomb-proof (touch wood... oops, none in the interior)
