I haven't said any cars I have owned... somebody else did, and why wouldn't they have?
Nobody said a VTR would be slower than a Swift GTi or Metro GTi top end, if you read back through all that was said was that the top speeds were similar. One post in particular showed this using Parkers own figures, but you ignored it. Also nobody said the Swift GTi top speed was 111mph.
Does it matter what spelling mistakes, I'm not going to sort through posts on either forum and compare to find them again, surely the fact that your youtube ID uses exactly the same name down to where capital letters are put, and you have the same opinions and said the same phrases (opinion on the difference between the VTR and VTS could have been copied and pasted off this thread) amongst everything else proves it.
Here is what I want to know. You are SaxopowerN1, so why not comment on the site? The answer is obvious - you realise you would be proved wrong.
And as has already been said, your video is not even close to proof.
LOL if my video is not proof, what is it?.

It s a dodgy video where you can't really see what's going on, and you could be in any gear as you can t see the revs, going down a steep slope = so not really proof of anything really!
It's just a dodgy video of a speedo moving glitchily...
The sound doesn't match up with the needles, you can't see the revs (so how do we know what gear it is in), there is a high chance it is on a downhill slope, the quality is bad so you can't make out what is happening a lot of the time (ridiculously hard to see when you actually get to 80), the camera jumps about a lot, the needles don't move smoothly (so there is lag in the recording equipment which makes it useless), need I go on?
You can't tell what gear it is? Does it sound like 2nd or 3rd gear? 2nd gear does 63mph and 3rd does about 85mph, 4th gear does about 110mph. You obviously didn't own a VTR if you cannot tell what gear that is.
At the end of the video you can see I'm at 60mph and a little over 3,000 revs. That also proves it was 4th gear.
The video is glitchy because I used a camera phone and youtube makes them worse when uploaded, original video is actually faster than the youtube one and it's still quicker than that 110bhp vtr to 80mph, which is also a glitchy video, I could record using my camcorder, but I've wasted enough time and would like this topic to end.

Saxo keeping up with a Clio 172. No chance - my MGZR 120 is slower, and with my foot to floor in 4th at 100mph a Civic Type R ep3 shots past me. You need to enter the real world and stop making out your Saxo is faster than Clios etc. My MGZR 120 is not, so your Saxo can't be that much faster than my MGZR to keep up with Clios, Type Rs etc.
From 10mph-65mph I stayed in front of the Clio 182, and a few weeks ago I stayed right behind a Fiesta ST from 0-85mph, which he gunned it first! - nothing in it! He did have a 1 passenger, but still upto 85 the performance was roughly the same.
Fiesta STs aren't exactly rocket fast, but would easily out do a Saxo VTR! A VTS would be on par at lower speeds, but the Fiesta would be quicker at higher speeds with the higher bhp.
I thought this thread had actually died, what's the use in arguing, the guy seems to think a very average performance car will somehow keep up with much more powerful vehicles, defying the laws of physics!

Ha! Was your Saxo being towed by a Veyron at the time?
A Saxo VTR is on a par with a Fiesta Zetec-S in a straight line. Nothing more. Even the 'mighty' VTS can't live with the likes of Civic Type-Rs and Sport Clios, and realistic owners will openly admit this.
Actually you're wrong, a Saxo VTS is quicker than a Fiesta ST in acceleration; VTS 0-60 7.5, ST 0-60 8.0.
The ST is on par with the 100bhp VTR, which does 0-60 in the 8's. I got prove how quick my 100bhp VTR accelerates and will hang next to any stock Fiesta ST. I will meet up in real life with any ST owner and prove this. Yes it has more power, but weight and gear ratios slow it down.
My VTR does 65mph in 2nd, and I can prove this in my video, and please stop talking to me like I'm a kid saying about getting fast cars like Civic Type R's, Clio Sports... I have a bike that will do 0-60 in 3 seconds and quarter mile in 11 seconds @ 120mph... those cars can't touch that.
I said before my car is my run around from A-B. I don't waste money on pricey Type R's that do 0-60 6.4 sec, I save my money and do it in 3.
The 0-60 times on the Fiesta ST and Saxo VTS are pretty much the same, as they vary depending where you get them, but they are both about 7.9, so exactly what I said, and again that the ST is quicker top end with its higher bhp!
Who cares that you've got a bike, if you even have? As you only ever mention it to try and make yourself not sound like a spotty teen that thinks his VTR is the greatest thing going!
Type Rs pricey? You can pick one up now for £5k or less, and you don't need to spend a grand getting your bike licence and might avoid a coffin in the event of an accident!
If your bike is so amazing, go on a bike forum and brag about it and forget about the average Saxo that can barely crack 60 in less than ten seconds!

More overblown claims from the same person earlier on in the thread.
The Fiesta ST is not equal to a VTR, it is leagues ahead and is on a par with the VTS. Which one is better at cornering is open to debate, but I think it would hold its own; remember even though it is heavier, the chassis design is nearly 10 years newer.
And on the subject of your figures for your bike, I believe you said your bike was a 600 before, you haven't specified which bike it is, assuming you own something like a GSXR600 or R6 then you will never get 11 second quarter mile times at the strip, even a Hayabusa will only just do 12's stock and that's with a very good rider at the helm.
Yeah with one big draw back, it's a bike, no thanks.
Unless you own a racetrack or were suggesting to go to one it is going to be pretty dangerous to meet up with somebody to 'race'. I also hope the police have you for admitting you did 132mph on the motorway (although you would probably be OK when they tested the car and found it wasn't capable) on an Internet site.
0-60 in the 8's? Says who? No magazines who test the car or book figures but just you. As for gear ratio's, you do realise that other cars can do 65mph in second like the 1.4K series in the rovers.
There are some threads ATM on that saxoforum all about modding the VTR; guess what one of the main mods is to make it accelerate quicker? Swap to the VTS box, LOL!
The ST has way more torque and way more bhp than the vtr, more than enough to compensate for the weight and put it on par with a VTS.
As for not 'wasting' your money. Why run 3 vehicles? It doesn't take a genius to realise that it will cost more than 2 or even 1. You could run an Evo or Impreza for the cost difference and not have to worry about it being raining or where your passengers/shopping would go everytime you fancied going fast.
